Here's a crucial nugget of info for everyone. Last night our restaurant had more deliveries called in for us totake than the equivalent day two of the GOP convention.  Much of these orders were unrelated to the conventions of course, but last night I did notice a few people watching the convention, the week before I don't remember anyone watching.  Didn't work last Thursday night so I won't be able to compare with tonites numbers.

I approve of this study's statistical accuracy.

First night DNC coverage beat first night RNC coverage the first night, but I haven't seen any comprehensive numbers yet for last night.

Unless you live in the Central Valley or in suburban Socal, this doesn't really tell us much.

I live and deliver in suburban Sacramento area, which is usually a strong GOP area. Of course even if Romney doesn't do as well here as expected it just means he loses the state by a little extra.

Well, I'm not surprised. First night DNC coverage beating first night RNC coverage the second night would be pretty odd.

Last night was actually extra slow for deliveries and there was no rush of extra orders during Obama's speech. I live in Mcclintock's district and there is of course no sign of a campaign, this being considered a safe seat.  Living in California one gets accustomed to no Presidential or, usually, congressional campaigning.

Wait, just realized. Of course there would have been an uptick in delivery food orders last Wednesday; people were watching football!
