9.  He really skewered Republicans well.  Great focus on foreign policy.

I didn't see Kerry's speech but I saw Gore's in 2004 at the convention. It was quite fiery and I have often thought that if Gore put that much effort into his campaign as he did that speech he'd have been seeking reelection in 04'.

I wonder if Kerry could have had a similar fate?

Guys it's a good thing he wasn't like this in 2004. He would have been a terrible president and would have lost in 2008.
