You know reading the Fluke thread (amongst others in that hellhole of a forum) makes me wonder why the hell J. J. is considered a more respectable poster than MorningInAmerica, AmericaNation, Politico, RockyIce, etc.

The worst thing about the Sandra Fluke thread is, as Alcon pointed out, that so many in it are obviously thinking they are being "clever" when their stupid "jokes" are the type of thing that typically just amuses middle schoolers or boys that still think girls are "icky" and have cooties.

I have a long history of opebo vs. really bad guy polls, opebo vs. Sandusky is just another entry in that.

All I can say is that as a liberal, I hope comments similar to the ones in the Sandra Fluke thread are being made at dinner tables, water coolers, break rooms, restaurants, and bars all across America. If American women find out what the base of the Republican party really thinks of them, and if non-Fundie American men find out what the Republican base thinks of their sisters, daughters, girlfriends, wives, and mothers, well let's just say that the Republicans will have a very hard time winning this election, and that we may finally succeed in crushing the far right in this country.
