http://www.tipponline.com/presidency/news/presidency/race-tightens-as-obama-advantage-narrows-to-2-points

Poll was taken Sept 4 - 9. So of this 6 day poll, 5/6 surveys were post Michelle Obama speech, 4/6 were post Clinton speech, 3/6 were post Obama speech, and 2/ 6 were post jobs report.

Obama: 46% (no change)
Romney: 44% (+5)

Peculiar? Yes. Their last poll in August had Obama up 46-39%.

Sample of LVs is D+5

This provides an interesting contrast to the meme the tracking polls have been putting out there about Obama's bounce.

Well, to be fair, hearing about those 8 to 10 point Obama leads on single day Gallup surveys had me pretty nervous. This makes me feel a little better. CNN could change all of that, of course.
