This attack was directed to the so-called "base". Romney has convinced himself he has to drive up conservative turnout to have a chance - after all, he knows the base dislikes him. To do so, he has to make Obama look "Jimmy Carter weak". On that sense, I think he might be successful.

You can't give Obama sole credit for killing bin Laden -- a pretty significant part of that has to go to Bush, imo. And it's good to see Mitt Romney staying healthy and choosing an environmentally friendly way to get around

Shall we debate an issue 50 years stale? Alright. Had we not gone in there, the communist North Vietnamese would have taken over South Vietnam without a fight, and later on would also not have had as much of a fight taking over Laos and Cambodia. As such, communism was significantly impeded, and had we stayed for another few years the independence of South Vietnam could've been assured.
