Let's not forget how Mitt Romney protested for the Vietnam War draft before he got his deferment and went to France.



Seriously...this guy is such the entitled elitist parody it is hard to imagine this isn't just some practical joke being played on America

My father will be very proud to have punched him, now.

Well, it would've been much harder to fight in Vietnam without the draft...

Would've been easier if we had never gone there to begin with.

Regarding 'Nam:

I hardly see OH NOES COMMUNISM as a valid reason to force thousands of young men (my father included) to fight for a cause that does not concern them and either...

A) Get killed.
B) Get maimed.
C) Become haunted forever by the image of your friends' grey matter on the wall.

Especially when you consider that South Vietnam was a dictatorship.

And overall, conscription is a moral evil.  But I digress...
