Was the comments over the US embassy attack in Libya the final nail on the Romney campaign?

Not sure this needs it's own thread but here goes anyway...

No way of knowing.  We still have the debates.  I mean it ain't good, but Obama could still screw up somewhere and negate some of this.  If the debates are just empty suits spitting talking points back and forth and no one makes any major errors then yeah maybe today will be the day we look back on as the final nail getting driven home.  But that's a big if.

Hardly.....listen, bro, his supporters will not vote for Obama.  Obama's supporters will not vote for Romney....no comment is going to change that.  Forget polling.

It's the great unwashed "undecideds" (what, about 4%) who will decide this race.....and it's hard, if not impossible to judge their feelings on this.

Sounds about right.

IMHO, people are reading this situation incorrectly. This attack wasn't supposed to attract independents/undecideds, because, like someone said before, those aren't making up their minds based on speeches like this one. This attack was directed to the so-called "base". Romney has convinced himself he has to drive up conservative turnout to have a chance - after all, he knows the base dislikes him. To do so, he has to make Obama look "Jimmy Carter weak". On that sense, I think he might be successful.

Mitt Romney in France during the Vietnam war draft...

Let's not forget how Mitt Romney protested for the Vietnam War draft before he got his deferment and went to France.

Seriously...this guy is such the entitled elitist parody it is hard to imagine this isn't just some practical joke being played on America

Well, it would've been much harder to fight in Vietnam without the draft...

It would have been much harder to have a draft if all the poor black kids could pull a "Romney" and just chill in France waiting out the war...
