Can anyone who opposes this explain what good comes from the California capital punishment statute and the millions of dollars it costs a year?

Don't say "justice" because even if you consider execution a valid form of that it's not being used.

Yes, a vote against repeal is a vote to waste millions of dollars a year on absolutely nothing. That's all the death penalty statute does.
