The Imperial Empire is ruled by Emperor Gasstavinius the MMMCCLXVIII. All power in the Imperial Empire is consolidated in his gloriousness. His subjects elect advisors and local leaders to assist his worshipness in running the Imperial Empire, however they may be dismissed at the mighty lord's discretion at any time for any reason. The Imperial Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, Battle Elephants and Flying Monkeys are all commanded by the most powerful Emperor.

Emperor Gasstavinius the MMMCCLXVIII decided that it would be in the best interest of the Imperial Empire to expand to the north of Imperial City to take Bronx County. The Bronx will be added to Imperial City and and renamed Yankeepolis. This expansion was implemented using Battle Elephants.

I think it'd should be after everyone takes a turn just to keep it  balanced but if someone drops off the face of the Earth we'll obviously make exceptions, anyways I'll go next.

After the glorious conquest of the city of Celtica, Emperor Gasstavinius the MMMCCLXVIII decides to slow down a bit on expansion temporary to focus on consolidation of the former state of Massachusetts. He does this by bring forth greatness to the these former counties:

Proclaims Emperor Gasstavinius the MMMCCLXVIII on top of the Imperial Empire Palace (formerly the Empire State Building, the bottom half of the building houses the government bureaucracy while the top half is the home to the Imperial Emperor.) Listening to there most supreme lord, the Imperial Empire start the process of consolidation by going across the Imperial Bridge (Brooklyn Bridge) and adding Kings County. Brooklyn will now be called Jayztown.

I think the main thing is we just need all of our participants to pay attention to when we have new rounds in the game. We should normally be able to have 2-3 rounds a day if everyone checks this thread once in a while.

I agree. It's taking pretty long. If you want my blunt opinion, I don't think we should be accepting to many more new participants now.

Though I wouldn't be against upping the number of counties we get to annex each turn...

I'd be cool with new people if they choose places where there is a ton of open space like Texas, South Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, etc.

If we're allowed to steal counties, this game will go on forever. I was enjoying it the way it was (or at least the way I thought it was ). It was very straightforward. Now I'm not so sure... Sorry to be so negative.

But to me, the draw of the game was about seeing how far you can go, seeing what cities you can take, and seeing what the map will look like in the end. I didn't think it was going to be a game of Risk.
