A New County Annexation Game

A while ago there was a county annexation game that had plenty of interested plays but a non agreeable map...... I was actually rather interested in this idea so I decided why not use the standard county map for he U.S. I invite you all to join and hope this takes off. One per turn if this takes off. I hope no one minds......

I'll begin.

I'd say we could start round 2 anytime..... as for Virginia we could just ignore the impossible tiny counties but if anyone has other suggestion's i'd be happy to hear them

OCC: Are the rules that you can make another claim only after one other person does or do you have to wait until everyone takes a turn?

I think it'd should be after everyone takes a turn just to keep it  balanced but if someone drops off the face of the Earth we'll obviously make exceptions, anyways I'll go next.

bgwah gets first choice of three counties, though, so he might not be dead.

Also, here's why we don't do two rolls at once.

I actually had to change that rue because it made me realize it would be impossible for some to get defeated as they would always have at least 1 county..... I'm still looking for revision suggestions though

I put a rule up earlier which said that if 2 "country's" wanted the same county the one with the lesser total amounts of counties to annex that turn gets the state while the opponent chooses a new county to annex.

However, for example say Person A (who has 1 county) and Person B are at war and person A gets 2 counties in 1 turn and person B gets 5.  Then Person A would chose their 2 counties and person B could only take 1 of A's when they could actually wipe them out........ but like I stated above other advice/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
