According to everyone's favorite paleocon uncle Pat Buchanan.

I love the sentence when he mentions Francisco Franco, Mussolini, Miklos Horthy, and Father Jozef Tiso.  Franco and Horthy don't get ranks and Mussolini doesn't even get a first name, but Tiso is Father.

I suppose it's neat that he (the paleocon) shares his last name with one of the worst U.S. Presidents.

Respect for the clergy.

Is this the same Hitler whose main concern before he invaded Poland was that some "bastard" would attempt to broker peace and who cursed Chamberlain to his dying day from preventing him from attacking the Czechs?
And I thought that Buchanan would not go as far as to lie so blatantly regarding the occupation of Czechoslovakia.

Even murderously antisemitic clergy?

Pat Buchanan doesn't care.

Well, he does.  He prefered to have small private wars where the opponent does not really resist and lets him take over.  He really does not want a world war. He would prefer to lead a German dominated Europe without a world war.  Of course that is too much for him to ask for, so there has to be a war to stop him.
