Clinton would always mark his greatest success as having averted war with Britain. However, despite this triumph, tensions with America's mother country persisted, and Clinton has gained the opposition of the more nationalist "Madisonian" faction of the party. Representing that in Madison's stead is another Jefferson protege, this time former Governor James Monroe of Virginia who is challenging Clinton for re-nomination. As well, a challenge hailing from the deep South, Georgia, is presented in another nationalist, former Senator William H. Crawford. The winner will go on to face former Vice President under Pinckney, Rufus King of New York.

And, for Monroe and the random Crawford supporter, please list a potential VP pick. I guess since I voted Monroe I'll choose... eh, Andrew Jackson for kicks and since the West needs some representation.
