I have never been a member of the Liberal Party. I am joining The People's Party.

If we field a candidate in Senatorial elections, I would be glad to stand for The Party in that regards.

Yes, I imagined The People would serve as our leadership.

Must I maintain the pretense The People and the people are synonmous?

As I've just been elected Vice Chairman of the Whig Party, I cannot abandon my elected position, but I'd be honoured, nay PRIVILEGED to be considered as an honorary member of The People's Party.

Tell that to Nix!

Oh, you're welcome to run. The People will support you regardless of our meager numbers so far. Our goal short term will be to compete in regional elections and eventually the senate, but if anyone wants to run now, knowing the odds The Party faces given our infant status, by all means, you will have my support, and I will do all I can to help you win.

As I've just been elected Vice Chairman of the Whig Party, I cannot abandon my elected position, but I'd be honoured, nay PRIVILEGED to be considered as an honorary member of The People's Party.

As long as you hold Our message near and dear, we are honored to have you in our caucus.

Will do then!

Allowing caucus members to vote discourages them from actually joining our party. I oppose it.

I share this opinion.

Well, if the party endorses you, I'll retire. I'm pretty sure it's standard policy to support your party's candidate in a race. That's some cheek you have.

The vacant Senate seat(s), obviously.  Come now Duke, it's really time you returned to where you belong.

But the senate has been in such fine shape since I left! We only have a few vacancies every cycle instead of the occasion one! Wink

I agree, to be honest.

Gov. Tmth has served this party well, very well, and I am sad to see him go, but I believe that Sen. Nix would be an excellent replacement.

The People shall prevail.

The People shall endure.

The People shall overcome tyranny and injustice.

Down with the establishment.

Power to The People.

I second Newport Beach, CA. After spending 5 days in NYC, the warm weather will be a welcome sight for us all.

And Simfan, don't you mean the Midwest?

Yes, the Midwest in all its weirdness.
