Dems:
Whitehouse (RI)
Sanders (VT)
Hirono (HI)
Cardin (MD), if the non-Cardin vote is split

Ind:
perhaps King (ME)
Reps:

Whitehouse (RI)
Barasso (WY)
Corker (TN)
- no consistently D counties at the state level, opponent disavowed by party
Sanders (VT)
Hirono (HI)
(though if it turns out to be a closer race than it seems now, Lingle could take Honolulu)
Carper (DE)
- well respected, opposition weak and somewhat divided
Hatch (UT)
- Hatch only barely lost Summit county in 2006
ME: the way state polling is going, there's a good chance Summers will win Piscataquis and Washington Co.
MD: Bongino and Sobhani together will probably together have nearly twice as much of the vote as Cardin in Garrett Co., so I expect which ever of the two is stronger there to win it.

But freedom to differ is not limited to things that do not matter much. That would be a mere shadow of freedom. The test of its substance is the right to differ as to things that touch the heart of the existing order."
