I think Arizona, Montana, and Indiana, since they may help the down-ballot Senate races. Georgia and South Carolina are tempting, but probably not this year, maybe 2016 or 2020.

Where's the option for 'all of them'.

The campaign should put resources into all of Arizona, Montana, Indiana and Missouri. Increased Democratic turnout in those states could lead to an actual net increase in the Senate.

Indiana and Missouri. He can actually win them, unlike Georgia and South Carolina. I don't mention Arizona because I like Flake, but there's just as good. Under no circumstances should he try to make a play for Montana; it will fail and he'll also lose the D Senate seat there because Tester will be linked with Obama.

When we were hearing that Team Romney was going to be able to flood the airwaves and swamp Obama in the current battleground states I thought Obama should stick to the core nine or even possibly narrow it down (or reducing spends in WI and NC). But if it is true that the ROmney money domination is not materializing, then I would think Obama should dabble in at least one of these states. I would suggest MO

Personally, i hope(TM) he just hangs with his trustafarian bros in San Fran and Williamsburg/Brooklyn.  Maybe SC and GA as they've no Senate seats up.  And as we all learned from the DNC, it's all about BroBama.  He'll need a split in partisan control so that the fire-sale of Social Security doesn't get pinned down on him - even though that was what he was commissioned for.  Hell, he should camp out in Charleston - it's like a mini-SanFran or mini-Williamsburg.  BroBots everywhere...

None. If they're in play, he's already won the election. If the Obama campaign becomes confident that he can win 270 EVs without further spending, they should devote any remaining resources to competitive Senate and congressional races.
