If the candidates both wanted more than 2 minutes, they should have written that into the rules.
Or maybe they could West Wing-style change the rules on the fly right now.

Romney seriously needs to calm the f down.

Being mean to an old guy probably doesn't send the best messages to the older demographic.

Wow, I'm surprised Romney is doing pretty well. Was expecting him to be a lot more dull and weak compared to Obama. Obama's still doing pretty well defending his policies, but I think Romney is doing a better job dismantling him.

BTW, Mariano Rajoy is Spanish Mitt Romney. So, it's hilarious to have him critizing Rajoy's Spain.

Garrett Haake tweets:

So far the debate has been focused on litigating Romney's plan, not Obama's record. That's bad news for the Romney campaign.

Good to see that Obama's getting good reviews on the economy and budget deficit, these are usuallly areas where Obama trails in the polls and in the case of the budget deficit trails by 10% or so. So, good so far for Obama.

But when the foreign police debate rolls around, Obama will destroy Romney.

If this were a three way Ron Paul would destroy both of them. But since it's Obama vs Romney, he who is pro-Israel (Mitt) will destroy he who isn't (Obama)

Note to Mitt. Outside the Fox/Rush bubble, names like Solyndra/Fisker/Green etc are not seen as evil.

Green energy is fine if done by private companies.  But throwing government money into fire doesn't work.
