Obama had a better closing statement, Romney wins slightly, but that closer was good for the President.

Romney was the clear winner of this debate. An excellent performance, and hopefully the polls will reflect that. What surprised me most, was that while they were more even in terms of actual content, Romney was the clear winner in terms of stage presence.

Grading:
Romney: A-
Obama: C+

Romney won the first half by a little and the second half by a lot. A strong performance, which should see a decent bounce, but Obama will probably maintain the lead. I'm feeling optimistic about this election again...if Romney can avoid saying stupid things, maybe a gaffe or two from the Democratic side over the next week, and a Ryan victory, I think the GOP can actually retake the lead. Probably in for a disappointment, but still.

David Gergen said it best:  Yesterday, the race was over.  Today, we have a horse race.

CNN had a dial.  Romney's numbers were good.  He looked human.

Come on people, all people are going to remember are Romney's comments about PBS, which he will be mocked for.

They're trying to figure out what happened with Obama and why he didn't come out swinging.

Romney clearly won.  I think an apt analogy would be that Obama's offensive plays were tackled for a loss by Mitt's Impressive defense (picking apart the holes in Obama statements) almost every time.  Obama didn't offer much of a counter to Romney's plays.

Romney win, very narrowly.  I wish we had Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, and Gary Johnson there.

I heard much of the last half on my car radio. What surprised me most was the halting style by the President. It was not in character with what I think most listeners would expect.

He's always done that in debates and sometimes even in interviews. It doesn't bother me personally. It was more pronounced in the second half.

I had to work overtime tonight and missed the debate. It looks like Romney won? Is there any place to watch the video?
