They're always very pro-incumbent. Which actually makes the above figures weak for Obama.

Favorite son, a State that has gone for the Republican nominee for President only twice in 52 years, those being 40-state blowout years for the Republican... the R nominee having trouble with all non-white, non-Anglo, and non-Christian voting blocs this year.

Only DC goes more for Obama.
