So Mitt Romney just can't play by the rules, why is it that the 1%ers think they are better than the rest of us?

Before every debate, Romney takes out sheet of paper and writes "Dad" on it.  George Romney, "Dad,"  a former MI governor and presidential candidate.

While he did obviosly sneak note in, this won't make a big difference since the side that you are on picks which story you believe. Most to all repulbicans will believe its a handkerchief, but most democrats will believe it to be notes.

Why would he risk it if he could just write dad on the paper given, if he does actually write dad.

He takes a piece of paper out of his pocket and then writes on it.  They cut the tape prior to that.

Neither candidate knew what the questions were, so he can't have the answers written.

This one is both silly and sleazy.

They didn't know what the questions were, why do you think that they gave a topic? it also tells you why he avoided certain questions, becuase they weren't on his notes.

Romney didn't avoid the questions and they didn't have the questions, according to Lehrer.

Like I said, both sleazy and silly.

Yes, he did. But some Democrats won't believe that, because their guy didn't have a good night and they need an explanation like Romney cheating.

Well, yeah. I'm not talking about most Democrats or anything, but I'm assuming the author of this thread (JFK-democrat) and Snowball buy into the conspiracy so I'm talking about them.

It's a hankerchief. He used it while Obama was making his closing statement.

You guys will accuse Romney of anything, but aren't even upset that the president fails to take responsibility for the last year or two. You need to get your priorities in line. Do you really want four more years of the last four years?

God, it would be terrible if the sanctity of Presidential debates was destroyed by the introduction of pre-fabbed, rehearsed talking points.

God, it would be terrible if the sanctity of Presidential debates was destroyed by the introduction of fre-fabbed, rehearsed talking points.

Perhaps if they did allow them to bring in notes, it would improve the substance.

Gingrich in 2007, "I don't care if they bring a binder". The problem is that in this Dancing with the Stars world, Torie debating anvik wouldn't make for good TV or keep an interested audience long.

No kidding!  Open-book test.  Awesome.  Bring your advisors too.

Oh sorry, somewhere I got the idea they were "debating issues". Forgive me, I forgot that this is tail and pony show about optics, substanceless talking points and looking to see who has the biggest gaffe or memory fail. Roll Eyes

At least he didn't write it on his hand like a certain other GOP nominee.
