Even though I don't agree with them on most things, ANC. Can't vote for the architects of apartheid.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm praying for another black-yellow majority, and for the SPD to get shattered. It's exactly what it deserves.

Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

The former. It's the FF. You can't vote against something that is so clearly an FF.
In reality I would have voted Democratic.

Really? You'd vote for a corrupt Zulu nationalist party that has, according to one of its own members of parliament (!) "no discernible vision, mission or philosophical base, no clear national ambitions or direction, no articulated ideological basis" ? Or a borderline racist (borderline is being generous) right-wing Afrikaner separatist party? Or a socialist pan-Africanist party? Or a Christian nationalist party that is against using condoms to fight AIDS, wants to ban pornography, and claims that the current age of consent in South Africa was set by gay activists who want to sleep with children?
I could
maybe
understand this kind of attitude towards Jacob Zuma and the modern ANC, but this is the party of Nelson Mandela we're talking about. I do not understand what would drive someone to be so fervently against them.
