You should have moved that to the Drunken Trollpit (aka the 2012 board).

I only saw it once, on the Caddell poll in FL.  It was a reasonable poll, in line with the MOE of about 3 other polls.

I think it might have been an oversight as opposed to a bias.

I usually post all polls that I can find, no matter if Obama/Democrats are ahead or Romney/Republicans. There's enough evidence of this in the polling sections.

I think Tender does an outstanding job.  But, if you're just looking for blue avatars in the poll-posting department, it's always seemed to me that MorningInAmerica does all due diligence too.  And J.J. keeps us ever-up-to-date on job approvals.  I think all of them serve the Atlas community very well.

I almost never post polls other than the daily trackers (and they have been all over the place).

I'm very happy with Branson, except for that one instance that I cited.

What's up with Peeperkorn being a Republican hack all of a sudden. That debate seems to have affected him a lot.

No, krazen. He only posts polls where the Republican is leading.

The irony is that we have Republicans who post Republican-leaning general election polls, but we don't have a Democratic krazen to post Dem internals showing good news for their candidates.

At the time, it was within the MOE.  It was a public poll, and it's numbers were within the MOE of the others taken that day.  Caddell works for people in both parties.  And on the same day, his numbers were in line with everyone else in OH.

Is it the absolute most accurate poll ever?  No.  It is as or more accurate than a lot of the Uni polls, or of the infamous Dispatch mail in poll.  Yes.

Don't know what I did wrong in this thread.

I deleted Hillary 2012's made-up numbers out of the OP and commented later that McLaughlin & Associates is an internal pollster primarily working for the RNC, GOP parties and GOP candidates, which can also be read on their website:

Don't know where you see that they work for "both sides" ... Tongue

Besides, the Columbus Dispatch mail-in poll is not "infamous", it's highly accurate. Just because they use a method that was used 100 years ago, it doesn't mean it's outdated. The Postal Service is still around these days.

Well, here is a candidate that Caddell, who is associated with the firm, worked for, two years ago:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Romanoff  He's obviously worked for Democrats over the years, including Joe Biden.

Further, they released their questions, so it wasn't a push poll or an internal.  And their numbers were in line with other pollsters.

PPP is associated with the Daily Kos.  I think they are a very accurate pollster, but not perfect.  Using this logic, we shouldn't be listening to PPP.
