Anyone getting this when it comes out? Been a fan of RE since 1996.

Probably. I actually found RE5 really really fun (you know, playing it with a friend).

So this seems cool to me.

I'm going to get it. Whether I'll get it as soon as it comes out or not remains to be seen.

Resident Evil has got to be one of my favourite video game series ever!

I played the first one when I was six or so. Tongue

Too bad I'll probably be too poor to afford Resi 6 when it comes out.

I'm picking it up once it's released for the PS3.

Anyone get this? I am halfway into Leon's campaign. I love it so far. I previewed all 3
campaigns. One is Horror-Action,One is Action and One Is Adventure.

Love the traditional (RE, RE2, RE3, RE:CV, REmake, RE:Zero) to death... absolutely one of my favorite series.  Couldn't really get into RE5, I thought it was clunky and WHY THE **** DO WE HAVE TO HAVE A PARTNER CHARACTER!!!?  Literally every review of RE4 said it was perfect through and through except the parts where Ashley was tagging along... so let's base an entire game on that premise.  Now I understand Sheva had good AI and fought for herself, but what the hell is wrong with having just one guy and NOT turning it into a Gears Of War clone? (a game that absolutely, positively sucks for fundamental reasons BTW).

RE6 looks super epic, but I feel the essence of RE is gone and I'll probably just play it because I love the RE mythology.

Yeah agree with the above.

Big fan of the classic RE games, and thus the series, but my interest is largely wedded to the old format - the new 'uns seem a little too generic FPS and I haven't really bothered with them.

I may be the only person who prefers RE5 to RE4. Because even an inferior game is funner if you're playing it with a friend.

Don't you wish they would remake RE2 like they did with the first one?  REmake is one of the best games I've ever played and considering that RE2 was such a great expansion on the ideas set out in the original i can't help but think it would be incredible.  Imagine fighting William Birkin on a next gen console. (not counting that stupid Operation Raccoon City game)
