This is completely false. I support access to contraception but don't think that organizations that oppose it should be required to cover it in their health insurance. And it was Republicans who fought to give women the right to vote, while it was mostly Democrats who opposed it. The list of Republican women, past and present, goes on and on: Clara Barton, Susan B. Anthony, Carrie Chapman Catt, Ginger Rogers, Jane Russell, Doris Day, Margaret Chase Smith, Jeanette Rankin, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Ann Coulter, and many more.
