I was worried but not as much anymore. White women are single handedly holding up up. 52-46. Especially since he lost them to McCain according to Wolf Blitzer.

It's even better given that other polls hinted that Romney's crested so we'll have to see if this is his highwater mark.

In line with some other polls.  CNN usually isn't.

That seems pretty accurate to me.  It looks like Romney has sealed up North Carolina, and he has taken a strong edge in Colorado and Florida.  Virginia is still close, but moving towards Romney, too.  Nevada is probably an absolute toss-up.  I think that the president may end up taking Wisconsin and Iowa.  All of that leaves Ohio as the last-brick in the president's crumbling firewall.

Romney and Ryan are going to live in this state with side trips to Florida and Colorado for the rest of the election. If they have any hope, it has to be here.

As long as he's above 50%, I'm good. I couldn't find any past CNN Ohio polls to compare this to though.

Ohio is going to be a very, very tough nut for Romney to crack.

I think the GOP is too excited about Colorado as well. The only post debate poll that's promising there is ARG, even rasmussen had Obama up

Yeah, and that poll actually showed an Obama counter-bounce.

That was a one-day Sunday poll.  Do you really believe that Romney is tied in Nevada but trails in Colorado?

Colorado will indeed be one of Romney's best pick-up opportunities.  Nate Silver will likely have the state a Romney-leaning toss-up tonight.  Not that Nate Silver knows what will happen next month, but liberals seem to be very fond on his analysis.

I think Ohio will be the make or break state for a Romney victory.

I don't see the party id but it seems not an outrage because Obama is leading I by 4.

So the only good new for democrats today.

That might be because he has a very good track record (and most of his mistakes have been in favor of Republicans).

Romney has yet to lead in a reliable poll here since August, even that one was kind of sketchy, and the two weak polls prior to this still had him up by only one. Not surprising and why I thought the panicking was overblown.

This probably right around where the race is.  If the country supposedly went from Obama +3 to Romney by 1, Ohio should've gone from Obama +8 to Obama +4.
