Still awaiting a confirmation link so pinch of salt and all that. Things still 'twittery'

http://today.yougov.com/news/2012/10/10/presidential-race-tightens-after-debate/

The poll was taken from 6-8 October (Saturday-Monday) Obama leads Romney by 3 with Likely Voters and 6 with Registered Voters

For those who are into the Party ID thing, worth pointing out that in this sample the Party ID was R+2. Obama leads women by 12 and Romney leads men by 10.

So this poll is even better for Obama than it appears.

The election won't be R +2. Even 2010 wasn't R +2.

I wouldn't worry about Party ID or this poll in particular.

I put about as much faith in this poll as I did with the ARG/Gravis/Uni polls released yesterday.

YouGov did okay in 2008; they had Obama +6 when the result was Obama +6.6. It was one of the top three performers

Looks like today will be a better polling day for Obama than yesterday.

Obama won the PV by 7.2% in 2008.
