Give the neoliberals some time to formulate why Pinochet was necessary to support to stop the monstrous Allende-esque Chavez from serving.

The democratically elected one.

Seriously, anyone who even remotely equates Chavez to Pinochet is an idiot.

Our numbers are dwindling. Our words are confused.
Some of them have been twisted by the enemy
until they can no longer be recognized.

Now what is wrong, or false, in what we have said?
Just some parts, or everything?
On whom can we still rely? Are we survivors, cast
away by the current? Will we be left behind,
no longer understanding anyone and being understood by no one?
Must we rely on luck?

This is what you ask. Expect
no answer but your own.

Chavez hasn't murdered thousands and shut down all dissent. The worst he's done is be a little authoritarian. Therefore, Chavez is better.

I'd rather swallow a whole 10 foot stretch of barbwire covered in mayo and acid then vote for either, but I would prefer Pinochet as a right wing hack.

As far as I'm aware Chavez hasn't started throwing his opponents out of aeroplanes yet, so him, I guess.

The one who is not a mass murderer.

Did anyone realise that with the cape and the sunglasses Mr. Pinochet look like the reincarnation of the Count Dracula?

Chavez. , Chavez is probably my favorite politician in the world right now. I don't see how one can equate him to Pinochet - Chavez hasn't exactly been a mass murderer.
