good points - scratch that. The House vote by number of states is important, and Clay needs to be the winner.



Clay 109 - Adams 77 - Jackson 66 - Crawford 9
(In NY, Clay wins 24 electors, and Adams 12.)

Clay offers Adams Secretary of State in order to head off Jackson, who has gained support from Crawford's elimination and threatens to take the delegation vote in some of Clay's western and southern states.

Thanks a lot shua! If you change the year for the map code, you can set it back to 1824 and avoid the two whited-out states.
