Still doubt it, but it's not impossible.

I think he still has an edge, but the odds are definitely greater than they were three weeks ago.

I think Obama will "lose" the popular vote but due to his ground game in Ohio, win in the electoral college...

Lose the PV to Romney? Over 50% chance
Lose the EV to Romney? Under 50% chance

Well, I thought he would lose in 2008, so I may be a bit pessimistic, but I find it unthinkable that he will get the requisite 40% of white voters.  There's no overriding reason for them to set aside their primary motivation this time.

We should just vote for president like American Idol.  It will be a lot easier, and would probably increase voter turnout.

A 2nd thread of 'Is Obama going to lose?', seems like confidence in Obama is plummeting.

Exactly - he is a lot stronger in Ohio and Virginia than a definite loser would be.

More like confidence in white American's racism is rising.  The truth is beginning to sink in to our population of young idealists here - America is a frightful and repulsive place.

Have no fear, if Romney wins, whites, Asians, Hispanics, blacks, all others, will all benefit because of Romney's economic and jobs policies that he will begin to implement from day 1.

Don't worry, the next president will be Hispanic.  I guarantee it.  Hillary Clinton will lose.  The media wants a strong Hispanic candidate, and that will propel someone like Martinez to win.
