Seems like someone told both of them to be attack dogs tonight.

Well, Mr. Nice Guy Obama was an epic failure.

Umm, there was a protest. It was just that the terrorists took advantage of the situation to have an attack.

Making Iran a big deal means she's totally in the Ryan camp. It's pretty obvious who she's voting for.

Biden basically has to debate two people with this biased moderator.

He wasn't great, but at least he wasn't completely obviously in the Romney/Ryan camp.

Dude, the Democrats only had a fillibuster proof control of the Senate for 6 months, it relied on Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson, and they squandered it trying to get Olympia Snowe to vote for RomneyCare.

Medicare is going bankrupt because of the partisan 2003 boondoogle that Ryan voted for.

You know, this debate might make me vote for Obama again just to get Biden.

Sign up for Ryan's amazing "Make your money work faster program!" Your choices are Enron, WorldCom, the Lehman Brothers, and Bear Sterns.

Tax cuts for the rich help the economy by 9 cents per dollar spent.
Extending unemployment benefits helps something around $2-$4 per dollar, I forget the exact amount.

Seriously, can Biden stop interupting Ryan?

If he didn't, this would be just a Ryan interview.

Ryan was the only member of the Wisconsin delegation to vote against increasing the military budget in a vote that passed the Republican controlled Congress.

Ryan and the moderator are basically arguing that we shouldn't have any long term plan to ever get out.

I'd be interested to what real centrists think of this. dems like biden acting like an attack dog

but indy's might not like this behavior

Elections aren't won by appealing to some magical centrists who are moderate on every issue and vote for the candidate most similar to them on the issues.

Somehow Ryan's anti-abortion rant became an anti-ObamaCare rant.

Umm, Ryan, it's RomneyCare that funds abortions, not ObamaCare.

Bill Maher is so far to the left, he is about as useful as Rush Limbaugh.

Are you talking about the same Bill Maher who attacked Occupy?

He's about as far left as the establishment media goes, but of course that doesn't make him far left.

Ryan, birth control makes abortion more rare.

Shhh... absitence and what not.

Just ask the last Republican VP nominee how well that's worked for her family.

The only thing Ryan has going for him is superficial, his looks and voice. Take that away, and he lost badly.

The people who say Ryan won will either be partisan Republicans, or don't care about the issues anyways.

Well, they still average to a Biden win. Obviously not a game changer, but could help Obama a bit.

What was the viewer numbers like? This had to compete with 2 post-season baseball games still ongoing, one of which is the last of the series, and the other of which is currently in the 12th inning.

People can bitch all they want about the broader implications and accuracy of the CNN poll about who won the debate, but the idea that Ryan is more qualified, not more preferred, but objectively more qualified, to be President than Joe Biden, is utterly absurd.

It didn't ask who was more qualified. Quite a number of people said they were both qualified.
