Will they be seated or standing at this debate?
Yeah, in 1984, 1988, 1992 , and 1996 they stood behind podiums. Then in 2000 and 2004 they sat behind a table. Then in 2008 they were behind podiums again. Anyone have an idea?
Nvm, apparently Biden's been practicing for 2004 format, so I guess their seated.

Why are the CNN lines loving Ryan so much?

Man, the CNN "undecided voters" squiggle really seems to hate Biden.
Why is that?

Biden is killing it, but he needs to cool it down a bit. He's seeming pretty angry.

I think Biden definitely came off too aggressive, interrupted too much, and smiled too much. It's good that he was showing passion and being assertive, particularly as more questions were being directed at Ryan, but it's always a fine balance to strike with being assertive without being overbearing.

That's probably what's showing up in the CNN polls showing it a tie, because Biden had a better debate on substance.

I generally agree, but Biden lost it on foreign policy.  He was a lot better on the economy than I thought he'd be.  Had he tuned down the laughing, et c., I'd give it to him.

It is not what the undecided voters wanted.  He obviously drank Obama's Red Bull.  Smiley

NBC poll has given it to Ryan.
Do you mean the CNBC Online non-scientific Poll?
