Suddenly, I'm getting a barrage of texts from my Republican friends about Romney leading in states X, Y and Z. They come my way because I'm known as the Romney skeptic (shocker!) in my circle (both political and non-political) circle of friends. I laugh it off. Sure, there was a Romney bounce after the debate but I was fairly certain it died down.

I haven't been following the state polls too closely over the past week or two because I've been preoccupied with other things. But curiosity got the best of me and I checked the poll section here. Is this for real?

Not really, I'm awaiting the PPP Ohio poll to know for sure. The only people really releasing polls are Republican Firms and third rate pollsters like ARG, Rasmussen, Gravis Matrketing and McLauglin.

Yes, KP, White Swinging voters realized that Obama is a black, you see.  Or rather, they realized that their dislike of Romney (and make no mistake, they still dislike him) is less than that for a Black.

I hate it too, Townsend, but its what is happening in the campaign and in the polls.  I wish it would cease, but it won't.
