I'm "middle class" and obama sure as hell raised my taxes

I'm guessing you make more than you did 4 years ago.  Did you cross into a new bracket?  Are you including your NJ state taxes?

Both up evenly on In Trade now... so this debate is a wash, as I expected.

I think Obama sounds more human than Romney in this debate. Romney is reverting to his robotic style.
This. The main thing that's undermining Obama is that he's attacking too much.

Overall on the tax question, Romney wins.  Overall in the first third in the debate:  Very slight Obama, but the gap's closing.

Very narrowly.  It's more of a wash right now with a slight tilt to Obama.  The tax question was won by Romney except for that "Of course they add up" fail.

Massachusetts can't legally run a deficit. Romney left a $1 billion deficit for the next governor.

Romney is angry that Crowley won't let him run over on his time and do talk whenever he wants.

As always, this debate is talking points central. I think they're both on top of their game on delivering those talking points, but Obama might be declared the winner by comparison to expectations and last debate.

Also, Romney can't do math.

Doubling the deficit would be 10 trillion to 20 trillion.

It went 10 Trillion to 16 trillion.

The basic point that Obama's economic policies are bad is correct, but that talking point is all sorts of wrong except when you're rounding.

Romney fumble: "Of course my math adds up" while ignoring the question.

No, that was the best possible answer. It was a trick question. Never answer "but what if your basic political philosophy is wrong?"

This Lily Ledbetter question was a softball to Obama and he didn't answer it well. Sad
