Romney announced he was moving staffers out of North Carolina... he moved one staffer.

Ryan campaigned in Pennsylvania... at an airport a short drive from Ohio.

Romney's got a plan here but it doesn't involve declaring victory in NC or moving into PA.

Biden campaigned in Minnesota recently, Obama is going up to defend NH on Saturday. That's the problem, you guys are defending states that should be in the bag by now, Romney is staying within the swing states

Lol what a load. Minnesota is right beside Wisconsin and Iowa. All they are doing is wasting their time. I'd love for them to get way too arrogant and then be totally dumbfounded when the lose on election night.

Jill Biden was in Minnesota, not Joe. And NH has always been a swing state. It's a great state for Romney.

Romney's likely to win NC. But he's still putting the effort in to make it certain, because Obama's still got his campaign going. He said he was moving his people out, but he only moved one.

Team Romney (Campaign+Party+PACs) has spent twice as much money in NC as Team Obama, even though the state was barely won by Obama in 2008. The fact that Romney is still spending money this week on NC is quite a success for Team Obama who are essentially trolling deep in Romney territory.

I do think the Romney campaign are trying to scare Obama into holding resources back just in case Romney dives into PA for the last week. I think they are hoping that Obama (like Kerry) ends his campaign with money in the bank.

That being said, a week from now if Romney has not been able to pull ahead in OH and they are worried the early vote cannot not be overcome, I could see Romney make a play for PA because there is no early vote in PA. If Romney has big mo in the last week he could win election day voting in OH but still lose the state, but maybe he can also win PA on election day (it is a hail mary but it will be their only option if NV and WI still lean Obama too).

As of yesterday, R's NC were running 8 points ahead of where they were at this point in 2008.  NC is gone.

While that may be true, it's also true that Romney announced he was pulling staff out of the state because he was confident of victory, but only moved one press staffer to Ohio.
