In 1984 it was Reagan's comment on his opponent's age.
In 1988 it was Dukakis' rape comment.
In 1992 it was Clinton's feel your pain and Bush looking at his watch.
In 2000 it was Gore getting up in Bush's face.
In 2008 it was how awkward and hotheaded John McCain was.

So what moment will have the staying power and be replayed from now til Monday in the MSM?
