Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks and Justin Timberlake

This is so sweet! Timberlake better give us that traditional country album he was promising pretty soon. Or just any type of southern-infused sounds album.

I'm listening to the Franklin & Marshall radio station, WFNM.  Mainly because my son's piano teacher said something like "FnM has a kick-ass radio station" tonight.  He was telling the story of how he acquired the nine-foot grand that he uses for the students.  He likes to tell loooong stories, and in some ways I wish I hadn't asked, but I did, and I have to admit that the story was interesting:  he was a student at Millersville about 40 years ago and yada yada yada he managed to get an  80K piano for about 40K.  I'm leaving out the interesting parts, mostly because this post is long enough already.  I do respect the fact that he lets his students play on his "good" piano.  This is my son's third piano teacher, and it is the first one that regularly teaches the students on a decent piano.  Anyway, he mentioned the Millersville U radio station, then in the same breath said that F&M had a "kick-ass" radio station, so I decided to give it a listen.  If you're in Southeastern Pennsylvania--and it sometimes seems like about half the posters here are--then give it a listen.  It can be received on an FM receiver at 89.1 MHz, or on line at wfnm.org.

Yeah. I know WXPN (88.5) is good too for SEPA college radio. We usually turned on that or XIP if we went on a food

I just finished listening to the wonderful, brilliant Phil Spector Christmas album (A Christmas Gift for You) on vinyl for the first time.  It sounded amazing; far superior to the CD version I have.

Andrew Norman- Music in Circles (performed by yMusic)

Link is, unfortunately, to the abridged "single version" which is not something that I thought contemporary classical chamber ensembles did!  But I can't seem to find the full piece on the web, so there you go.
