Hardly. Wealthy people are a good thing. The poor do not become wealthy by taking away from the rich.

"Radio Ad in the Austin TX Area"

Once upon a time there was a fox called seatown. Now seatown was hot and thirsty and saw some luscious grapes on the vine, just out of seatowns reach. No matter how far he jumped, he could not reach the grapes.

Finally, he got tired of reaching for the grapes, and slinked off saying "Aw, I bet those grapes were sour anyways."

Then he takes a chainsaw to cut down the grapes, but the Chainsaw runs out of gas.

So he tries again to dig under the roots of the grapes. And fails at that too.

Now, a farmer named Velasco comes around and goes to seatown, why don't I pluck the grapes off for you so that you don't need to reach for them?

Don't let seatown get the grapes!

Vote Ben Kenobi, the true texas titan. Smiley

I wasn't aware that grapes were grown in Texas.

Well, sure. 90+ percent of all American wine is from California, but we have plenty of vineyards here too. Smiley It's actually the third largest wine producing state!

... is this your idea of an attack ad, its completly meaningless besides alerting viewers that Texas has grapes (and for the less intelligent foxes).

Ben Kenobi is also quoting the famous Aesop's fable entitled The Fox and the Grapes. According with the Latin version of Phaedrus:

La Fontaine's version adds some ambiguous sexual connotations:

Regardless of the meaning that Ben Kenobi has wanted to give to this fable, I'm grateful for the efforts for raising the tone of this campaign with these so educated references. I'm certainly impressed. Wink

alright, but it has a different tone and message, plus why would someone say Finally, he got tired of reaching for the grapes, and slinked off saying "Aw, I bet those grapes were sour anyways."

Then he takes a chainsaw to cut down the grapes, but the Chainsaw runs out of gas.

So he tries again to dig under the roots of the grapes. And fails at that too."

I mean that doesn't follow any logic.

The chainsaw was a Ben Kenobi's addition, nothing to do with Aesop or La Fontaine. He is an imaginative person.

The chainsaw represents Bacon King's attempt to sue the IDS. The digging represent's seatown's appeal.

Still the sour grapes elude seatown, but seatown isn't done yet. Cheesy

The office of Ben Kenobi is announcing that they have initiated litigation against Bacon King, the entire Labour party of Atlasia and the IDS for abuse of the recall petition.

The office of Ben Kenobi is currently in the process of serving the named individuals, so that they may effectively represent themselves in the court of the IDS.

Bacon King's petition has been accepted by the Emperor, so I am asking that everyone vote in the voting booth to prevent my recall.

Rather than wait a week for elections, Labor is seeking to oust me now.

Thank you all of you for your support!

*Ben Kenobi steps up to the Podium, in Atlanta Georgia!

I have had a tumultuous, but effective term as your legislator of the IDS. I have fought, and continue to fight for the preservation of the South, as she is, from the blasts of the carpetbaggers who seek to convert the South into just another fiefdom of California and New York city.

The South has her own culture, her own distinct way of life which should be honoured, and not denigrated, uplifted, and not assaulted, encouraged and not squashed.

This term, we have seen the efforts of Bacon King and Seatown to overturn the results of the November election on a technicality. They failed in the courts.

Now, we are seeing them attempt to remove your legitimately elected representative, for nothing more than the crime of opposition to their agenda.

I ask that you, the people of this glorious region of atlasia stand up for yourselves in opposition to the desires of Labour to conquer you and all that is good in this region.

I ask that you vote for me in the recall election, so that I can serve my term fully.

I thank you for the privilege of having served you in Atlasia and I look forward to serving for quite some time to come.

I would've urged appeal to the Atlasian Supreme Court. But then again they are also filled with the stench of radical laborite corruption that has been present since Napoleon's accession. If this recall is defeated I urge a run for President in February.

While the composition of the Supreme Court is pretty far left, I was impressed by them upholding Dibble's ruling in the case over last month's elections. They've been doing their jobs up there.

I'm afraid that many of you don't know what is a radical leftist. That's not strange since there aren't actual communists in this forum (the few 'far-leftists' around here are a joke compared with the real 'radical left') and given how to the right have drifted certain societies on the other side of the Atlantic. Indeed, if you believe that the average Labor member here is a far-leftist you have a serious problem of appraisal.

As it appears I've become the anti-Kenobi candidate, as your opponent I wish you luck in this election.

I thought you would like that, Bacon King.

As for anti-Kenobi, you presume falsely. Is this not a celebration of your desire to become the true evil of the IDS?

The office of Ben Kenobi encourages you to all get out and vote for Hagrid and Spamage in the At-Large senate elections, if you have not already done so. Both of them are excellent candidates.

I wholeheartedly endorse them and believe they will continue to do a fine job. But they can't do it without you!

Please come out and vote for Spamage and Hagrid!

The office of Ben Kenobi announces that it will defend itself vigorously from the appallingly litigious Bacon King and his legal team in the recently filed case of BK vs BK.
