If it is true, then it has to be something worse than just "Obama almost got divorced".   Trump may be a bloviating ahole but he understands the media. A twice divorced man is not going to get much traction from saying "Obama considered a divorce 10 years ago". Even he knows that it would only help Obama and hurt him. So if it is about divorce, there must be something in there that is bad.

My bet is that it has nothing to do with divorce. Trump who trades in trophy wives once a decade, is simply not the guy to start throwing mud about divorces. If he found something like that he would have fed it to someone else.

This is a scummy attack and will hurt Trumps image a great deal...but he doesnt really care as long as Obama goes down with him.

I was kind of wondering about those divorce papers.  Malia was born in 1998; Sasha in 2001.  I know, I know, family troubles can happen no matter the ages of kids and such, but that would be a fast turnaround from "couple willing to have a child together" to "couple about to get divorced" to "couple so happily reconciled they have another child together".
