For an election such as the Presidential election, I seriously think there needs to be one federal standard.

No, no. State's rights are more important than democracy.

Don't worry. FL is still a competitor in the race for worst elections....This year they have created an absurdly long ballot.

I've voted absentee since I've turned 18 and it's not a big freaking deal at all. The ballot was lengthy for Broward County because it's in three languages and due to the wordy nature of the constitutional amendments however you really have to be an absolute dummy to not understand and easily fill out the ballot

Ohio is a terrible state. They don't deserve this much national attention.

Ohio won't be close enough for them to matter.

The provisionals almost always lean Dem so if Obama is ahead going into the count he's probably got it in the bag. Doubt this becomes an issue unless the margin is less than 0.5% or so.

I have plenty of popcorn and soda for the final days ahead, especially watching Ohio on election night.

yes but what if ROmney has a slim lead. Then expect a court fight over the provisionals. Last election 40,000 provisional ballots in OH were thrown out, many over technicalities like how people signed their names and if they printed their names or not. These ballot rules could become the hanging chads of 2012
