Colin Powell gave about as solid reasons for voting to re-elect President Obama as there could be.

President Obama did what was necessary to stop the economic meltdown soon after he was inaugurated. The economy has since been in a growth phase -- and not a reckless growth phase. Was it perfect? Is there such a thing as perfection in politics?

President Obama has a steady hand on foreign policy. As with other issues, Mitt Romney says whatever happens to be convenient at the time. Truth need not be convenient, but it is all that we have at times. better that than hallucinations, delusions, and stupidity.

Not only is the charge distasteful, it makes no sense; Powell is white.

Obviously the idea is that Powell suffers from White guilt....

He is deeply, deeply remorseful that some of his ancestors kept as slaves some of his other ancestors ... I think, that is how it works.

Well, it's just Sununu being this obvious, not all Republicans. I would suspect less than half the Republican party holds this kind of view, although it's certainly the louder less-than-half.

Dems continue to run the most racist campaign in the history of the republic.  Of course Powell endorsed Obama because he was black.  And yes, a greater percentage of black voters voted for Obama than would have if he were white.  Race is played a big part in Obama's win.  Its not a secret.
