Which states do you think will they poll ?

I don't think they can poll IN and ND, because they have robo-poll bans.

I'd love a Maryland poll! Some important ballot initiatives there, and the Senate race might be interesting with the third party candidate. Hopefully a Maine poll as well, since there's the gay marriage ballot initiative and a (maybe?) competitive Senate race.

I'd like a ND, if for no other reason, I want them to poll the Senate race.

Very unlikely to happen.  Robo-polling is illegal in North Dakota.  PPP would have to use live operators.  Unlike Rasmussen, PPP hasn't shown a will to do that.

I'm guessing one of the extra states they will poll is Maine, and maybe even ME-2. And maybe NE and NE-1 while they are at it. Both states have Senate races too.

Doubtful they'll consider our referendum on whether to go from electing the lt. gov separately from the gov to on a ticket with the gov as a sufficient reason to poll SC, but I can hope.

It'd be political malpractice to not poll Maine.

Here's my guess. Maybe switch Michigan or Oregon with Pennsylvania.

It's a lot cheaper to use robo calls. My company does a lot of it, but we still maintain a call centre.

I'd like to see a few really red states like LA, KY, WV, KS on there b/c maybe then we'd have some clues about this popular/electoral vote split.

I just asked that they poll South Carolina, we really need to have at least poll here before the election.

I'd like to see a few really red blue states like LA, KY, WV, KS on there b/c maybe then we'd have some clues about this popular/electoral vote split.

Fixed for the Atlas.

They should skip that snoozefest Iowa for Maine.

They can't. These states have banned robo-polling.

I would have liked to see Nebraska instead of Washington or Minnesota, oh well, it'll only be 4 days before we know anyway.

Polling Nebraska would've been better than polling Minnesota, IMO.

Would've like South Carolina too, if only because it's currently a toss-up on the Atlas map.

Generally though I agree with those states.

Why is SC being ignored and we keep getting tons of polls out of places like DC and Massachusetts? I guess the senate race in MA.. but still..

We have no statewide races, even the new 7th district is safely Republican, and everyone is sure we're safe Romney, so there's no media demand for one.  Plus there's the fact that the governor's goons have Winthrop running scared, so they are not about to do a poll only political geeks would care about, if the results might upset She Who Must Make Report Cards.  You might remember that when Winthrop polled the 7th district race, they didn't bother to ask a Presidential question despite asking a whole bunch of other questions.
