Only Nixon and Ford. Montco was Republican every election from 1960-1988 with 1964 being the exception. It's voted Democrat ever since.

Nixon '60
Ford '76
Bush '92
Dole '96

Kerry '04

Previously a solidly Republican county that is now Dem-leaning.

Dallas County here. It voted Republican in every election from 1960-2004 except for 1964. LBJ won it in his landslide. (Dallas voted for Nixon, Ford, Bush, Dole of those listed.) However, its swung hard toward the Democrats and Obama won it handily in 2008.

Same for my adopted home in maricopa county, az.
I was kind of surprised initially, but got to thinking, any democratic strength in urban Phoenix is offset by the sprawling burbs, so maybe not all that surprising after all.

What if you live in Vigo County, Indiana?

Then do what I did, and go back further (Stevenson '52, Bryan '08).

Pretty sure my county would have voted for Gore and Kerry at least if it did vote.

Nixon 1960, Ford, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry.  My home county leaned Republican from about WWII until the late 80s/early 90s (can anybody say social issues?) despite a strong presence of the auto industry and the UAW, and from 1960-1984 voted Democrat for President only once (1964).  But it's voted for all Democrats for President starting with 1988.  Starting with 1948, I believe my home county has the same voting record as the state of Oregon.
