"old posters writing off all new posters as hacks/trolls" should be an option as well.
They should expect an influx of people in a major election year, and should get over it when the new posters might have differing opinions. Smiley

Constantly complaining about the 2012 board. We've long believed the appropriate way to deal with it is to keep the mess quarantined, but instead of holding to that, or even the 2012 board flooding all else, we've flooded all else with constant whining about how bad the 2012 board is.

I'd say option 1. A few posters *cough, cough* Dirks, Cliffy, have gotten pretty hackish. Even Politico wasn't that bad.

Orion, as I said before, you're fine, but their has been an influx of genuine trolls, like Mr. Twister, who has a new hack board every hour, talking about stuff, such as how Obama should campaign in Salt Lake City, because even if he doesn't win the state, it'll prevent more Romney votes in other states. Just stupid stuff like that and others have shown their are a lot of new Hacks Smiley
