to see if there was a national Bradley-effect for Obama ?

The latest national polls all show Obama with between 35-40% of the White vote, with just a few undecided.

If the exit poll shows Obama at 35% with Whites, is this enough for a "Bradley effect", because he got about 1-5% less than what the pre-election polls said ?

Or does it have to go below 35%, because of the MoE for both the exit poll and the pre-election polls ?

A small number, 1-3% perhaps I would be hesitant... the bigger it gets, especially if the proportion of AA and Latinos is roughly the same as polling... then yeah, I'd start to think about it.

Its more of an "Obama effect" where so much Pop-Culture TV and Celebrity media has hyped Obama up as a mythical icon who is perfect and unfallable and no one, especially impressionable women will publicly denounce Obama to pollsters.

Women voters are fearful of public ridicule, peer pressure, and gossip.  So Women will tell you "whatever you want to hear" because they don't want to be shunned by their friends.

Can Obama live up to the "Media Hype and expectations"?

If Obama loses, it will be because the Women have publicly supported Obama, but privately have voted for Romney because he will be more focused on economic improvements.

Polls are anonymous, dimwit.

The Bradley Effect does not exist. Most racists do not make a concerted effort to hide their racism.
