Too much of a nanny mentality lies within him (like limiting soft drink portions served in public establishments), but an excellent mayor who typically displays good judgment about the things that matter. NYC is fortunate to have him at the helm. It is a city that works, and works well - perhaps the best run large city in America. FF.
I really don't care for Bloomy on a personal level and there are some big differences on policy but I do agree with much of your assessment. He is a capable executive of a
very unwieldy animal.
