Spain is full of fascists and Aznar-lovers. I can't understand the 1% thing for Rommey.

Well, of course. I always love the handwringing from Europeans while a decent amount of them support far right wing parties. The GOP is "out of touch" though. I'd be more understanding if a lot of them were abstaining out of dislike for Romney but this is a consistent thing with Europeans.

The GOP has embraced anti-European rhetoric. Why should we surprised that the Europeans don't care much for the GOP?

Yeah because we know a bunch of those far right (and left) wingers haven't bashed not just the idea of the European Union but Europe as a whole!

That's the second international poll confirming strong Romney support in Kenya.  BBC world poll in October had Romney at 18% in Kenya, even surpassing his support in conservative Catholic Poland (16%)   My guess is that it has to do with internal tribal politics.

Yeah, I know these global polls are pointless, but as an expat and citizen-of-the-world, I find them rather interesting.

The odds that a Democrat is going to win is always directly proportional to the snideness of Phil's responses as Election day nears, and I like our odds.
