Gary Johnson has ballot access in every state except Oklahoma and Michigan.
In the latter, however, he has write-in access.

BEST: California, New Hampshire, New Mexico

WORST: Hawaii, Mississippi, West Virginia

I don't think Johnson will do bad in Michigan. There is a Libertarian named Gary Johnson on the ballot in Michigan....its just not Gary Johnson Tongue He is a stand-in. I laughed about this with Governor Johnson when I met him. Such an awesome guy. Shame he will only get 1-2% of the vote.
