Romney hasn't learned the lesson from the Bush 2004 and McCain 2008 campaigns.

GOP quit wasting your time with Pennsylvania!

says more about OH than PA.

BTW, let's say Obama wins every state where he holds a lead on the RCP avg, except PA. Then he still wins with 270.

This is getting Fox and the right wing sites all happy thinking it's a sure Romney victory if he's coming into PA. However, not a single non-moron falls for this stunt. I'd like to know what the odds of Mitt winning PA and losing OH is. I'd bet less than 0.5%

Either confidence or desperation. I'm inclined to say the former is likelier than the latter, but then I'm biased.

I get that he wants to desperately build a MORMENTUM narrative but this is a pretty stupid waste of time with five days to go.

On his show today Chuck Todd said that the Romney strategists were trying very very very hard to sell the message of Romney momentum and things surging their way because they felt this kind of buzz can buy them 1% nationwide. Not sure I buy the theory.

In the end I bet Romney still spends most of Sunday in OH, with a quick hop over the border into SE PA which is half Hail Mary and half 'Mittmentum event'

In 2008, Mitt Romney predicted McCain would win Pennsylvania: http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/romney-predicted-john-mccain-would-win-pennsylvani

With less than a week to go, a sensible campaign would be living in Iowa and Wisconsin...

Where in PA.

As I pointed out, Obama started running radio ads here last week.  Something is up.

That isn't an answer to the question "Where in PA?"  It he going to be targeting OH from PA as well.

He'd be better served trying to flip NH or WI. PA is fools gold every election. It's not flipping this time either.

No, you're right.  This is nothing like 2008 at all.

And the only hope for Romney, as insanely slim of a hope that is, is to hit the suburbs of SE PA.  And again, WHY WOULDN'T OBAMA BE RUNNING ADS EVERYWHERE WITH 4 DAYS TO GO AND CASH ON HAND?!

This is different that 2008.  Obama and McCain made sustained efforts in PA.

This started with Obama moving in on the radio about two weeks ago, with nothing from Romney.  Then Romney started on TV, and suddenly, we're in the middle of a combat zone.

The polls (the good one) is showing it tighter, but with Obama at +4.  That's down, but not terrible.

Is Axelrod worried about a Bradley Effect?  He's mentioned it, but there was none in PA in 2008.

Turnout problem?  There has been no massive ground game for Obama in PA.  Registration is down more for the D's than the R's.
