I am withdrawing from the GOR Committee Chairmanship and endorsing Nix for that.

Unless Nix loses the IA to Simfan, he will have double duty. Since Oakie is going to be Judiciary chair, there is no one for GOR chair who doesn't have another likely obligation

ME - PPT
Nix - IA
Oakvale - Judiciary

Oddly, this has happened in every committee chairman election so far.

Previously it was
ME - PPT
Scott - Judiciary
Ben - NSC

Something about the GOR lends itself to forcing someone to pull double duty. Tongue

Time to get out the vote, if you know what I mean!

Forty-eight hours. Only members of the committee in question may vote.

After a bit of confusion in seeing where exactly I was elected, I vote for Oakvale as chair of the Judiciary committee.

Nix is Chair of GOR. Ben is Chair of NSC. Simfan is Chair of IA. Oakvale is Chair of Judiciary. Go forth and legislate.

Ben will probably revive his old thread, but the other three will probably create new ones.

Remember to place this at the front of your Subject lines:
SENATE STANDING COMMITTEE:

That way it will stand out from the bills.

Also use the first post as sort of noticeboard/activity tracker to keep track of current business, pending matters and completed hearings/considerations.
