Next non-Marokai Bill. Tongue

This is the form that passed the Senate last time and then failed in the Midwest and the Pacific. It has been made clear once again that there needs to be some alterations in the way this is done. Last time the issue was that a rogue Senator could drive us all the way to Senate trial 1998/1867 style and not even have another supporter behind him. Another issue was uptake by the Chief Justice and that is one that has surfaced once again.

It is thus clear we need some changes, though I am very open to what those would entail and other options than this present text.

Bottomline, start talking OR I WILL EAT YOUR EYEBALLS!!!! BWAHAHAHA!

I'll probably support this amendment. What was the rationale for the "no" votes the last time this was tried?

I'd agree that specifically enshrining a Senate committee (the Judiciary one, in this case) in the Constitution is asking for trouble - it's reasonably likely that we'll end up changing the committees around at some point, or even abolishing one or two, and I think it's best that the Constitution gives the Senate a little leeway in how to determine our committee membership. I second Nix's amendment.

If memory serves me, this is all Scott's fault then. I am so going to kill him...

...oh wait, I already did. Evil

The amendment is friendly.

Simfan and Marokai still haven't vote yet here.

If they don't in a few hours, I will just end this without them.
