that are viable either for a statewide office or perhaps a national office? In my opinion, the women black and hispanic democrat candidates tend to do best when they don't make their identity a big deal in the campaign. Here are a few off the top of my head:
Gillibrand - could maybe run for president eventually depending on how her senate career goes Deval Patrick - i'm not sure how popular he is in MA. If he's popular, he could run for president Corey Booker - possible senate candidate when Lautenberg is done Hansen Clarke - possible senate candidate when Levin retires Xavier Becerra - possible candidate for governor down the road Judy Chu - possible statewide candidate Karen Bass - I could see her running statewide (probably for governor) Henry Cuellar - if any texas dem could win statewide, its him Sanford Bishop - he's getting too old to run for something else, but if any dem could elected statewide in GA, it might be him
